Motorcycle Hotness

I love my family therefore I love family events.

However, they often leave me asking, 'how in the world am I related to these people?' Because wtf? SERIOUSLY WTF?!

But anyways, at this family event there was a friend of the family's "friend" present. I use the term "friend" because he, Victor, introduced her as an old friend, but they sure were cuddly. The were drinking quite a bit so you know... Still not the point. The point is she had a nice bike. A really nice bike! It was a Harley. Not really a H-D fan, but it sure was a nice bike. The boys thought so too. Well, my family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents) could not seem to grasp the concept of a female biker.

They were taken aback by the fact it was her bike and she wanted to buy another. They asked her if Victor has ever driven her bike. In which she responds, "NO. No one rides my bike!"

I liked her answer. My family not so much. Hmmm...

I mean how could you not like this?

Once More With Feeling

In not so many words I miss writing.

After graduating with my BA in Literary Journalism I was tired of writing. Any passion, desire, or love for the art had disappeared after having it hammered into me for the past two years. I needed a break, to say the least. But, in the past few months I've had the inkling to write but no time to do so. Now that I have the time, I needed an outlet and a muse. So here I am.

What's to come of this? Honestly I don't know, but stick around and you may find random musings on my life, what I read in the paper or in that new novel I picked up, what I saw on TV, a fabulous new recipe or any other random thing that strikes my fancy!
